DDM the new version 2019 is now here! Lots of smart new features! CSI has now released its new version of the PLM solution DDM (DesignDataManager). DDM is a PDM/PLM solution known to be tightly integrated with "all" 3D CAD solutions, more cost-effective and offering more agile functionality.
DDM 2019.01 offers new functionality with over 80 improvements in areas such as Project Management, Workflows/Workflow, features in the WEB client and updates of support for newer CAD versions. DDM 2019.01 provides support for the latest CAD versions as well as support for Windows Server 2019. Export to 3D PDF is now available as an alternative neutral format. In DDM the user can easily create "Non Drawn Part" and later convert it to a CAD model. Now the user can easily switch between Non Drawn Part to Non Drawn Assembly. Support for export to business systems via XML has been developed. The handling of Workflow steps is improved. In the WEB client there are a lot of new features that give the user more flexible possibilities in areas such as project folders and workflows.
Overall, DDM is now a really powerful solution ready to manage documents, CAD files, product structures, revisions, change requests, etc. from concept through released product all the way to end of life and all history is saved.
