Answer: Yes, IC Mechanical is included and provides access to an extensive library of standard 3D components, such as screws, nuts, washers, threads, steel beams, aluminum profiles, lock rings, o-rings, stuffing boxes, sprockets, boom joints and keyways. In addition to the component library, you also get access to smart tools for steel stairs, railings, piping, parts lists, auto-numbering of parts, unique QR codes for 2D drawings and fast DWG/DXF export directly from the 3D model. Support can guide you on how to optimally use these features in projects, and provide tips for efficient design and automation of routine tasks.
Answer: Yes! All customers with a support contract receive online training, instructor-led and customized to your needs. The training is completed in approximately 30 minutes and covers features such as dynamic modeling, assemblies, IC Mechanical, bills of materials, and exporting drawings. Employees can participate whether they are in the office or at home, making the training flexible and easy to complete at no extra cost. This is offered once a year for all support customers.
Answer: The support agreement always provides access to the latest versions of IRONCAD and IC Mechanical, including bug fixes, enhancements and new features. The updates cover both 2D and 3D features, updates to the ACIS and Parasolid cores, and new import and export filters. Support can assist you with installing updates, checking system requirements and license management, ensuring that workflow is not interrupted and that you are always working with the latest technology.
Answer: If you wait to renew your support contract, you can sign a "Return To Support" contract later. The price depends on how much time has passed since the support expired. If more than 4 years have passed without support , the license can no longer be updated. Prices are exclusive of VAT.
