IRONCAD 2021 is now here!

IronCAD DCS 2021 (which includes IRONCAD ) is a really nice new release with smart improvements that everyone will benefit from in their daily work. The improvements apply to both the 3D environment and the 2D drawing part. In addition, IronPRO XT (renamed IRONCAD Mechanical 2021) has a great set of new, really impressive efficient tools!

New smart features in 3D

Tools, interfaces and features have been updated in response to user requests. IRONCAD takes pulling handles to a whole new level to quickly adjust shapes to exact dimensions. Now the edge is further enhanced by the further development of handle technology in IRONCAD 2021.

Another great advantage of IRONCAD has always been the system of Catalogues and bidirectional Drag and Drop. Lots of new directories have been added along with features and possibilities with Drag o Drop assemblys, Partners and Intellishapes. The interface for managing the directories has been updated. And more.

SheetMetal, 2D drawing, Online Viewer

The Sheet Metal tools have several new features and the performance of the 3D cutting tools has been significantly improved. New features in Pattern and of course TriBall! With 2021 comes an update of both solid kernels and import filters with support for newer version of formats. In the 2D drawing section, an ISO tolerance table for hole/axis dimensioning is introduced, the dimensioning has received several adjustments to work easier and faster. Expanded support in 2D with new Catalogs with Drag o Drop to quickly change Drawing frames and to create different symbols. And more.

IronPRO XT changes name to IRONCAD Mechanical

As most IRONCAD users know, IronPRO XT is dynamite for increased productivity. Outside of Sweden, the solution is called IC Mechanical so to avoid misunderstandings, we are changing the name to IC as well. Now IC Mechanical is packed with interesting new features! We will soon present an overview of all the new features in IC Mechanical 2021. The program is truly an invaluable tool whose new features are based entirely on customer requests. Even the Online Viewer has received a proper overhaul of the interface and support for textures. A lot more features are coming to the Online viewer already this coming spring. Among the Ad-ons, the new KeyShot 10 is now supported, which is a really good tool for creating realistic renderings in a short time.
