IRONCAD 2022 PU1 is now here

IRONCAD 2022 Product Update 1 - a big boost for the programme

There is now a new update to IRONCAD 2022: Product Update 1 . We dare say that the new features will be greatly appreciated by users as they are built on customer requests. Read more about the details here...

IRONCAD 2022 Product Update 1 is a version with requested new features

Product Update 1 includes features that really make a difference and make design work easier. New features include improved performance of 3D sections (Section Tool) and a brand new Object Viewer for selected icons in the directory and history tree.

A large number of requested minor improvements have also been introduced, such as adjusted right-click menus to more quickly find the right options, a new selection filter to quickly click on the lowest sub-assembly in the 3D scene, which may be an imported engine whose constituent parts are uninteresting in themselves. Several new symbols now make it clearer in the tree structure what is internally or externally linked. Set favourites in the welcome dialog that appears when the application is launched.

SheetMetal has also received new tools.

The 2D drawing continues to be improved with several enhancements to the parts list and pos balloons, including a clearer view of which lines in the parts list have not yet had a pos balloon exposed. A new tool to automatically place pos balloons has been implemented. For broken views, it is now possible to choose to also give a side view the same properties.

With PU1, the import filters have also been updated for better possibilities to lift files from other formats to IRONCAD.

In summary, this is a really good update. Below is a link with several videos about the news in PU1:
