The new IronCAD DCS version 2023 will be launched in December 2022 and will include improved 3D modelling, 2D drawing and interface features.
IronCAD DCS is a product development suite with IRONCAD as the complete main program with all possible functionality. In addition to IRONCAD , IronCAD DCS also includes solutions for pure 2D drawing (IRONCAD DRAFT ), a separate 3D solution without 2D drawing (INOVATE) and a free viewer (COMPOSE).
The new IRONCAD 2023 comes with lots of powerful improvements. These include, briefly, improved handling of large assemblys when importing and creating 2D drawings. New features are also available in Sheet Metal, new tools for creating and controlling 3D curves, many new possibilities in 2D dimensioning for both ICD and CAXA 2D interfaces, and new measurement features in the Web Viewer.
There is also new functionality in more complex areas such as Structured Part in the 3D scene, to link and manage different geometries in several new ways.
Updates have also been made to the user interface to clarify and simplify work, including a new function for locking the camera's centre of rotation, quick switching of transparency on parts and assemblies, and a new way to quickly create visual slices through selected 3D models.
The US version of IronCAD DCS 2023 is ready and will be available to users with active support today, Monday 19 December. As most of you know, we at Solidmakarna a custom installation file that includes, among other things, customized versions of IC Mechanical and more catalogs, as well as adjusted settings and templates.
