IronCAD DCS 2023 PU1

IronCAD DCS is a product development suite with IRONCAD as the complete main program with all possible functionality. In addition to IRONCAD , IronCAD DCS also includes solutions for pure 2D drawing (IRONCAD DRAFT ), a separate 3D solution without 2D drawing (INOVATE) and a free viewer (COMPOSE).

In addition to an annual update with news in 2023, 2024, etc., there is a further update (Product Update) in between, which provides new possibilities. The US version has been available for a number of weeks and now the customized version is available from Solidmakarna. The adaptation provides more optimized settings, catalogs and templates and the correct version of the IC Mechanical.

Below are some short examples of improvements:

3D: improved handling of configurations, external links, objects in directories, attachment points, the father of the pattern, several functions in the sketch, Replace Part/Assembly with locks, SheetMetal and functions for more complex functions in Structural Part that link to another "Body".

2D: improved performance when creating new views with many parts, new functions for transparency in drawing views and new functions in dimensioning. For the 2D environment in CAXA Draft there are also improvements.

Other: improved import, updated supported formats. Faster switching between 3D, ICD and CAXA tabs. Support for KeyShot 2023.

In addition, there are now many new features in the latest IC Mechanical which we will report on separately.
