The IronCAD DCS 2024 suite (including IRONCAD ) is currently in the final stages of development. It is planned to be launched in December 2023.

Beta testing of IronCAD DCS 2024
The R&D team at IronCAD LLC is hard at work going through the test reports received from the beta testing of the upcoming version 2024. Solidmakarna are part of the IronCAD Steering Committee, we are continuously informed about what the R&D team is working on and also have the opportunity to test early versions and influence certain parts of the development resources. Our tests show that version 2024 contains many useful and time-saving new features.
Maybe you missed the beta testing and are interested in participating? Contact us for more information about the beta testing.
Here is just a short selection of three news items from IRONCAD 2024;
.
Projection View - a new tool to quickly add a side view starting from the selected view in the 2D drawing (ICD). Each side view is displayed in real time when the mouse pointer is moved around the selected view. Quickly execute or cancel via right click.

Improved Solid to Sheet Metal conversion - by easily adding lines used as an intersecting feature, one can now quickly convert solid geometries, imported or modeled in IRONCAD, into "unfoldable" Sheet Metal parts.

Search and link items with the same Part Number - by using the search function and finding all items with the same item number (Part Number), you can now link them together afterwards. It is also possible to select multiple parts and link them together. Very useful if you used Copy instead of Link at an early stage! A similar "link together" function also comes via drag-and-drop from catalogs.

We also take the opportunity to inform about an upcoming Webinar - News in IRONCAD 2024, January 10, 2024.
Starting next year, we intend to try a new approach with a webinar, where we spend about 20-30 minutes going through different functions according to a predetermined theme. Then there is the opportunity for a short question and answer session. The plan is then to continuously hold a number of webinars with different themes over the next year. We hope that this will be an appreciated way to increase knowledge about IRONCAD.
The first webinar, on Wednesday, January 10, will focus on some selected new features of version 2024.
Look out for an email with a link to the invitation in the near future!
