The change usually does not take more than a few hours (depending on the time difference to the US), it is recommended that you make the change after 14:00 (Swedish time) and you will normally receive a new license file the same day.
If you want temporary software licenses (5 days) please send an email to us with the number of temporary licenses and to which version of IRONCAD to support@ solidmakarna.se.
When you have received your temporary licenses, you must activate each of the clients according to the instructions we send in the email. If you do not want temporary licenses, you can go directly to step 2.
Login to the old license server and launch the Wlmadmin.exe located on it:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IronCAD\IronCAD License Server\bin
Expand Subnet Servers
Then expand your server and take a screenshot of your licenses.
If you get an error message after the installation process is complete, it may be because you have a space in your Windows username. Try unpacking the installation file manually by following the steps below. We have written how to do this in both Windows 11 and Windows 10.
This is for Windows 11
If the path to the folder that handles "My Documents" and "Downloaded Files" etc. contains a space in your username (\Firstname_space_Password\) you need to manually unpack the installation file, otherwise an error message will appear during installation. To unzip, you can for example use WinRAR/WinZIP or preferably the easy to use and compact 7-zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
Then you can right-click on the file you downloaded and choose Show more options
Then select 7-zip followed by Unzip to "IronCAD_DCS2023SP1_SWE\
Then run the installation file itself in the new folder by right-clicking on the *.exe file and selecting Run as administrator:
This applies to Windows 10
If the path to the folder that handles "My Documents" and "Retrieved Files" etc. contains a space in your username (\Firstname_Space_Password\) you need to manually unzip the installation file, otherwise an error message will appear during installation. To unzip, you can use WinRAR/WinZIP or the easy to use and compact 7-zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
Then you can right-click on the file you downloaded and choose to unzip it into a new folder which will be created automatically.
Then run the installation file itself in the new folder by right-clicking on the *.exe file and selecting Run as administrator:
Then right-click on the server name and select Remove all features, then take a new screenshot of these where the list is empty.
Now follow these instructions on the new server:
At point 11, send an e-mail with the codes to IRONCAD. Write as follows and attach the screenshots in the email to support@ ironcad.com cc support@ solidmakarna.se:

We changed our server. Please see attatched images where the old license is removed.
Please include all old licenses in the new licensefile.
When you receive your license file back, import it to the new license server and then configure the client against the new server as described above.
