The server change is usually completed on the same day if the license file for the new server, sent from IronCAD , arrives before the end of the working day (depending on the time difference to the US). If you make the change after 2 p.m. (Swedish time), the new license file will usually arrive on the same day.
If you need temporary software licenses (5 days), please send us an email stating the number of temporary licenses and the version of IRONCAD solidmakarna
The temporary licenses can be activated on each of the clients according to the instructions we send in our email. If you do not need any temporary licenses, you can proceed directly to step 2.
Log in to the old license server and start Wlmadmin.exe, located under:
C:\Program Files (x86)\IronCAD\IronCAD License Server\bin
Expand Subnet Servers
Expand "Your Server" and take a screenshot of the list of your licenses.

If you get an error message after the installation process is complete, it may be because you have a space in your Windows username. Try unpacking the installation file manually by following the steps below. We have written how to do this in both Windows 11 and Windows 10.
This is for Windows 11
If the path to the folder that handles "My Documents" and "Downloaded Files" etc. contains a space in your username (\Firstname_space_Password\) you need to manually unpack the installation file, otherwise an error message will appear during installation. To unzip, you can for example use WinRAR/WinZIP or preferably the easy to use and compact 7-zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
Then you can right-click on the file you downloaded and choose Show more options

Then select 7-zip followed by Unzip to "IronCAD_DCS2023SP1_SWE\

Then run the installation file itself in the new folder by right-clicking on the *.exe file and selecting Run as administrator:

This applies to Windows 10
If the path to the folder that handles "My Documents" and "Retrieved Files" etc. contains a space in your username (\Firstname_Space_Password\) you need to manually unzip the installation file, otherwise an error message will appear during installation. To unzip, you can use WinRAR/WinZIP or the easy to use and compact 7-zip: https://www.7-zip.org/
Then you can right-click on the file you downloaded and choose to unzip it into a new folder which will be created automatically.

Then run the installation file itself in the new folder by right-clicking on the *.exe file and selecting Run as administrator:

Right-click on the server name and select Remove all Features.
Take another screenshot of the program window when the same list is empty.

Now follow these instructions on the new server:
In step 11, you should send an email with the codes to IRONCAD.
Please write as follows (copy and adjust the text where necessary) and attach the screenshots to an email to ironcad with a copy (cc) to us at solidmakarna:

Can you please send me the license file for this Sentinel RMS Server?
Serial Number: NLUS20XX-xxxxxx

We have replaced our server. See attached pictures where the old license has been removed.
Please include all old licenses in the new license file.
Once you have received the new license file from IronCAD , import it into the new license server and then configure the client for the new server, following the instructions above.
