A family business with 50 years in business

With over 50 years of experience in sheet metal working, welding in aluminium, laser cutting and punching in sheet metal, Länna Svets has been operating in Merlänna outside Strängnäs. During all the years that the family-owned company has been active, they have developed a state-of-the-art workshop with an unparalleled machine park. Their machines are capable of laser cutting, turret punching, edge pressing, eccentric pressing and welding. In the communication between customers, 2D CAD (DWG and DXF files) and 3D CAD files are often sent, in the form of e.g. *.STEP, *.x_t, *.sldprt, *.sldasm and other formats.

Communicative and flexible CAD system

This requires a communicative and flexible CAD system to ensure seamless collaboration. The solution is IRONCAD. IRONCAD is extremely competent when it comes to importing and exporting various CAD formats. Länna Svets & Mekaniska is a long-standing, loyal customer of Solidmakarna and uses IRONCAD for product development and sheet metal bending. With IRONCAD's highly flexible sheet metal table, it is easy to add your own sheets to build up your own library of sheets ready to be machined with the progressive sheet metal bending tools.

Statement
