We have compiled 20 free laser cutting fonts that are available for free download.
When laser cutting sheet metal, for example, where there is also text, it is important that each character is "open", which means that, for example, the "triangle" in an A does not "fall out".
Download the ones you like and come back to us and tell us if you have used any of them for your projects.
All the font collections shown here can be used for free, but make sure you review the terms and conditions of each one.
Select one or more of the fonts further down in the post and press "Download".
Right-click on the *.zip file and select "Extract All".
Then go into the unpacked folder.
There you will find TFF or OTF (or both) files.
Right-click on one of these and select Install.
The installed font can now be used in all places in IRONCAD (a restart may be required) where you can use text tools. In the video below we show how to add text to a plate in IRONCAD using the 3D text tool from the add-on IronCAD Mechanical.
