Change the volume unit

If you want to change the unit used to display the volume level, you can find this option under the global "Units" setting. The quickest and easiest way to access and adjust this setting is via the "Units" button located at the bottom of the program.

In this context, density is expressed either in kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m³) or grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm³), e.g., 7.85 g/cm³. For steel, this would mean that its density is shown as either 7,850 kg/m³ or 7.85 g/cm³.

The "unit of length" selected for the second half of the density value (volume) also applies as the unit for volume throughout the entire system. If you select kg/m³, volume is also displayed in m³. If you select g/cm³, volume is also displayed in cm³.

If you then check the properties of a part , the volume part under the Material tab.
