A new update to IRONCAD 2021 has now been released. It is called Product Update 1 (PU1) and contains over 100 quality improvements and also several new useful features.
Among the new features, we would like to mention some really great ones;
Symmetry or not for Sizebox handles!
- Left mouse button - only the handle you pull changes.

- Right mouse button - both handles (symmetrically) change in the direction you pull. Directly grasp the same handle with the left and it is again "non-symmetrical" or with the right and it is "symmetrical". You don't need to deselect anything in between.

New option to close active TriBall via right click!
Very convenient if you prefer to use only the mouse buttons.

Many improvements of point clouds!
Load point clouds in any of the file formats *.PTS, *.PTX and *.XYZ and then manage them in several ways, such as; reducing the number of points directly on import, deleting or hiding points afterwards, merging and moving point clouds with TriBall.
The 2D drawing has a number of useful new features;
- Double-click to edit all types of notes.
- Use [Spacebar] to repeat last used command.
- Use arrow keys to adjust view scale afterwards.
- Depth section view and more!
Also lots of improvements to Sheet Metal, Mechanism Mode, BOM handling, import filters, support for KeyShot 10.1
We have also produced a PDF document in English that goes through all the news in the update: News in PU1 for IRONCAD 2021 (PDF)
Here you can download the update itself (or go via IronCAD Live Update directly on your own computer, down by the clock): https://www.solidmakarna.se/downloadcenter/ironcad-dcs-updates
(2021-04-13) OBS! At the moment we have noticed two minor bugs that will be resolved shortly via a minor hotfix update:
- Export of the 2D drawing is missing the dimensions text. Instead, use Print to PDF to any PDF printer and avoid Export of 2D drawing, until a solution is soon in place.
- The [Esc] button to deselect does not work consistently (or at all). Deselect as usual via clicks in the background or in the structure tree(Scene Browser).
