A new update to IronCAD DCS has now been released. It provides improved stability and increases usability. It contains over 50 quality improvements and bug fixes. For example, there was previously a problem with tolerance measurement in the 2D drawing which has now been fixed.
The update is called Service Pack 1 (SP1) and can only be installed if you already have IronCAD DCS 2023 Product Update 1 installed. All included programs in the Design Collaboration Suite (IRONCAD, INOVATE, IRONCAD DRAFT and IRONCAD COMPOSE ) are updated.
Here is the link to the new SP1 (via our download center): Link
During installation there is the option to update the IC Mechanical. It should not be done, please uncheck please uncheck that option. This is because Solidmakarna offers a customized version of the IC Mechanical. If you do not check this option, you will get a message saying that IC Mechanical was not updated, which is the intention, so there is no way to make a mistake.
Tip:
Before you install this Service Pack, you must first have IronCAD DCS 2023 with Product Update 1 (PU1) installed.
To see which version you have installed, go to Menu/ Help/ About . There it says for example: cf_200D↩
Product Name: IRONCAD2022
Version: 24.0
This means that IRONCAD 2023 is not installed and you should choose option A below. Then C.
Product Name: IRONCAD2023
Version: 25.0 ServicePack 1
This means that PU1 is missing and you should start by installing it, option B below. Then C.
Product Name: IRONCAD2023
Version: 25.0 Product Update 1
This means that PU1 is installed and you should select option C below.
A) If you do not have IronCAD DCS 2023 installed already, you can download the complete installation file including PU1 here: Link

Other:
IronCAD LLC in the USA has a webpage with a link to the "Full Installation" of IronCAD DCS 2023 PU1 SP1. We do not recommend that you use it because Solidmakarna instead offers a customized version of PU1. Instead, use the links above (leading to "Patch Install").
That said, this page provides good information on what quality improvements are included in SP1. Link
