There are now many ways to model bent sheet metal in IRONCAD and for closing corners there is a useful feature called Add Closed Corner.
In this particular case, however, we have a sheet where the Add Closed Corner function does not work to close a certain corner, as the two bends are not actually directly adjacent to each other. In addition, we make a nice ending with a 45 degree angle via the Sketch on two Add Stock features.
By using the Relief handles on the benders, you can still easily close these corners with full control. There are also a lot of smart and simple keyboard shortcuts to speed up your work! Watch the video below to learn more about this.
