DDM facilitates SAAB Seaeye to design remotely operated submersibles in Sweden and the UK.
SAAB Seaeye is part of the SAAB Group. They design a wide range of remotely operated underwater vehicles. They also develop custom systems to meet customers' unique needs. They have offices in both Sweden and the UK that need to interact, which requires an efficient system to manage design files and also other types of documentation. It is of course important to know which version is the latest and where a particular detail is used. DDM solves this in a cost-effective and secure way. The CAD files are often created in Creo and the other files may be office files etc.
"DDM allows us to securely and quickly store our Creo models and all other relevant product information. We can then spend our time designing new products to increase revenue, safe in the knowledge that our files are easily accessible and up to date when needed.
DDM is quick to learn and easy to use. Saving and finding files takes seconds instead of minutes. We don't have to spend precious time managing complex folder systems." concludes Adrian King, SAAB Seaeye
