The image shows the Edge Sawbox (edge saw) sawmill equipment developed at IRONCAD Höga Kusten Teknikresurs AB.
In fact, IronCAD already has the next version, 2027, on the way!
We at Solidmakarna will, as usual, create our own customized installation file with various settings, templates, and directories.
For this reason, we recommend that you, as users, wait to install version 2027 until our installation file is ready.
It will likely be available after the summer. We will keep you updated on this.
Here is some information about some of the new features coming in 2027
- Lots of new features in the Sketch tool
- Performance: significant improvements when opening, saving, and editing large datasets
- Limited links: a feature that allows external links to be displayed in simplified mode. Switch between this and editable mode as needed.
- Flexible Assembly: assemblies can be displayed in different views for their component assemblies
- Triball: Move by dragging the center point without needing to snap to geometry
- New camera features: Control various zoom and camera functions directly using new mouse buttons.
- Export to the *.3MF file format for printing on a 3D printer
- New features in 2D *.icd files, such as dimensioning and text boxes.
