Multiphysics for IronCAD 2019 offers new technologies, improvements and updates for FEM simulations. IronCAD is now releasing the long-awaited version of Multiphysics for IronCAD (MPIC) 2019, the latest version of the integrated FEM simulation tool. The latest features and updates simplify the process of adding conditions and settings, reducing analysis times.
With this, IronCAD has improved and refined MPIC, further enhancing the user-friendliness and functionality of the all-purpose FEM program. In MPIC 2019, several key functions have been added, created specifically for the analysis of assemblies. The new Rigid Body Kinematics (RBK) feature now dramatically improves analysis by blending rigid body and finite element techniques.
Critical parts that need careful analysis continue to be analysed using Sefea multi-physics while parts or connecting mechanisms that are not otherwise of interest in the calculation are treated as rigid bodies to transfer the constraints, loads or motions needed for an integrated assembly analysis. AMPS Technologies Chuck Paulsen, quotes, "It the first FEA application that easily and seamlessly leverages both rigid and flexible parts to analyze CAD assemblies quickly and accurately from early concept to final stage design."
