In this post we show you how to create your own drawing template in CAXA Draft. For those of you who are not familiar with CAXA, it is an alternative to creating 2D drawings in IRONCAD. So in IRONCAD we have two different ways to create 2D drawings, the first and traditional way is the ICD environment which we use in our basic course material. The second way is CAXA Draft which is also integrated in IRONCAD, CAXA Draft is also available for purchase as a separate program from IRONCAD. The environment in CAXA Draft has a familiar user interface for AutoCAD users and contains powerful tools for detail drawing and dimensioning in 2D.
