Many times you use the same dimension for plates over and over again in your construction. If your desired sheet metal dimension is also far down in the sheet metal table, you will always have to scroll up and down the list to find the right sheet metal.
To better manage this, you can use a filtering function that ensures that your favorites are always at the top of the list.

1. go to Options
2. Expand the options for Sheet Metal
3. Select Stock
4. Select the plates you want to use as favorites, by checking them under the column labeled Favorites
5. Then press OK
Drag and drop a new plate into the 3D scene with the left mouse button. If no Select Stock-window appears, drag out a new plate again, this time with the right mouse button.
Make sure the function Filter Favorite Stocks and Default is checked at the bottom left. Then all the plates you have listed should appear as Favorites at the top of the list.

Footnote: To disable the function that the window Select Stock window every time you pull out a new sheet, uncheck the Display the stock selection dialog on dropping stock setting and then close the dialog with OK. NOTE! Remember to pull out a new sheet with the right mouse button if you want to display the dialog again.
