Defining a default template for your 3D scenes in IRONCAD can streamline your workflow and ensure consistent settings across all new projects. Follow these steps to set your desired template as default.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open a new scene:
    • Click on the New... button in the main menu.
    • Select Scene and click OK.
  2. Choose your preferred template:
    • In the dialog box that opens, browse the available templates.
    • Select the template you want to use as default.
  3. Set selected template as default:
    • Click on the Set Selection as Default Template button.
    • The selected template will now be the default in future new 3D scenes.
  4. Confirm and open the stage:
    • Click OK to open the new scene based on your chosen template.
