IRONCAD collects all keyboard shortcuts in an XML file. By formatting the file, it is easier to understand and it is easy to copy over the content of the XML file from an old to a new version.
This video walks you through how to find the XML file that handles keyboard shortcuts and how to load it into your current version of IRONCAD.
Quick tips on new keyboard shortcuts with IRONCAD v2024:
[§] - Properties for IntelliShape/Part / Assembly
Press "paragraph" after selecting an object to open the Properties window. Note that many of these properties are also displayed in the Properties tab at the bottom left of the 3D scene.
[<] - Position TriBall Center
[ '] - Select the "last" smst in the tree structure
Hold down the keyboard shortcut and click in the 3D scene to go directly to the "bottom" assembly level of the tree structure. NOTE! This keyboard shortcut is unfortunately not working properly after the PU1 update for v2024. On English keyboards this is the [ ' ] apostrophe key
[O] - Open external link
Select an externally linked Part or Assembly and open its own 3D scene file with a keyboard shortcut.
