It is called Product Update 1 (2025 PU1 or 2025.01) and contains almost a hundred quality improvements but also about thirty new useful features. Updates are always included for your existing version of IronCAD DCS.

NOTE! We have seen that the PU1 installation restores the list of open catalogs (both in the 3D scene and the 2D drawing), as well as the path to the default templates and the working folder back to the US original. Please make sure to back up your settings via IPROSettings which you can find in the Windows Start menu, under the folder IronCAD Mechanical.

Keep in mind that you can also update the IronCAD Mechanical add-in with a new version.

What is new?
New features include better resolution of radii and arcs in the sketch, the ability to save your own materials (without color) to catalogs and export animations in MP4 format. Drag a pattern including multiple holes directly to a catalog for reuse.

The Sheet Metal tools have received several smart updates, including the ability to use In Bend and Out Bend with the Add Miter Flange command.

When creating a new 2D drawing directly from a 3D model, you can choose whether to create a completely new 2D drawing or to add a new sheet to an existing 2D drawing or to add a new view on an existing sheet to an existing 2D drawing.

In addition, a new module for piping in the 3D scene and a completely new tool library for standard components have been implemented.
