Why Swedish Standardization?

IRONCAD is, as you know, an American CAD system. During installation you can choose between basic settings based on "inch" or "metric" and "ANSI" or "ISO" standards for 2D drawings etc. If you have downloaded the installation file from ironcad.com and do not actively select "ISO" and "metric" during installation, you can still change this afterwards, but as a new user of IRONCAD it is not always easy to know or figure out where and how to do this.

Solidmakarna has therefore developed an additional program that adds and replaces files, templates and settings adapted to "ISO" and "metric" standards. However, this installation file, which we call "Svensk Standardanpassning", is not included when downloading from ironcad.com, but only when downloading from our . solidmakarna.se.

It may also happen that you only want or need to add selected parts of our "Swedish Standard Adaptation" afterwards. Then you can follow the links to our guides below. There are direct links for downloading various catalogs, 3D and 2D templates, exercise files, plate tables, images, register entries, etc.
